Event Details
Customers, investors, employees, and regulators are increasingly demanding and expecting transparency and accountability in companies' sustainability efforts. A PwC survey found that 69 percent of investors would increase their investment in companies that successfully manage sustainability enquiries. Companies must not only develop a sustainability plan but also carefully communicate it. Many firms fall prey to greenhushing, greenwashing, and greenwishing, which refers to either keeping quiet about their sustainability goals or misleading the public altogether on the environmental friendliness of their products and services. This may risk issues with customers, regulators, and investors. Yet, there is still disagreement on what these terms actually mean and also challenges in developing realistic and trackable goals.
Join AmChamSG as a panel of experts share insights on the "green" vocabulary; crafting a compelling sustainability narrative; effectively leveraging different channels, from traditional media to social media; and measuring the impact of sustainability efforts and translating that data into convincing metrics and visuals.
