AmCham Singapore invites you for the third instalment of our signature Balestier Series with Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Republic of Singapore.
Join us as we host Minister Balakrishnan for a conversation about the current geopolitical context, implications for our region, and how Singapore can navigate key global and regional challenges. Dr Balakrishnan will also speak about the opportunities for closer collaboration between Singapore and the U.S. in areas such as supply chain resilience, critical & emerging technologies, and the green and digital economies, as well as the important role of the business community in further enhancing the U.S.-Singapore partnership.
The Balestier Series hosts distinguished Singaporean leaders from key sectors and Singapore Ministers who address AmCham members on subjects of significance. Launched in 2014, AmCham's Balestier Series celebrates two centuries of economic and commercial exchange between Singapore and the United States. The Series is named after Joseph Balestier, the first consul to Singapore for the United States who served from 1837 to 1852.
