In today's world, technology is the driving force behind national power and economic strength. As the U.S. and China vie for technological supremacy in critical fields like AI, biotechnology, and semiconductors, the global landscape is rapidly evolving. In his newly launched book, Techno-Nationalism: How It's Reshaping Trade, Geopolitics, and Society, Alex Capri offers key insights into the geopolitical challenges and opportunities arising from this competition.
Alex Capri teaches in the Business School at the National University of Singapore. He has worked extensively in China and Asia for almost two decades, where he was a partner and the regional leader of KPMG's Asia Trade & Customs Practice. He has been a panelist and workshop leader for the World Economic Forum; has written for Forbes Asia, Nikkei Asia, and other publications; and is a frequent guest on global television and radio networks.
Join AmChamSG as Alex delves into the concept of techno-nationalism, the global reorganization of strategic supply chains, and how these shifts are reshaping trade, security, and global stability.
