Event Details
An essential part of modern life, semiconductors โ otherwise known as integrated circuits or (ICs) or microchips โ now underpin everything from household appliances and automobiles to the most advanced supercomputers, AI applications, and weapons systems.
The global semiconductor ecosystemโfrom the upstream semiconductor manufacturing equipment (SME) suppliers, through the chip designers, foundries, and assembly/testing facilities that make them, to the downstream end-usersโface supply chain disruptions from the pandemic, regulatory obstacles arising from the Russia-Ukraine war and the "trade and technology" rivalry between the U.S. and China, and the inherent challenges of designing faster and smaller devices to drive innovation across industries.
Our panel of experts will explore the interlocking technological, commercial, regulatory, and political factors impacting the semiconductor industry's future in Southeast Asia and worldwide.
