Event Details
Join us for a roundtable discussion with Paul Ahern, Counselor for Enforcement in the U.S. Treasury's Terrorism & Financial Intelligence Office at our AmCham Office.
Counselor Ahern will be discussing sanctions evasion efforts by Burma and Russia, including the importing of sensitive dual-use items that can be used for military equipment and weapons. He'll also be sharing information about some of the patterns or typologies of sanctions evasion efforts Treasury has seen.
The aim of this discussion will be to help companies better understand and manage potential sanctions risk they could face and provide a venue for Treasury to answer any questions firms may have about UN or U.S. sanctions.
