AmCham will be hosting Claire McCleskey, Assistant Director for Compliance in the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), for a roundtable discussion on Friday, September 29, from 1.30pm โ 2.30pm.
Ms. McCleskey is interested in better understanding how the global energy and shipping industries have been impacted by the implementation of the Russia oil price cap. Ms. McCleskey also seeks to engage with members, particularly within the financial sector, on their efforts to enhance regulatory compliance through new technological tools that improve the efficiency of AML/CFT compliance frameworks. Ms. McCleskey hopes to promote better understanding of OFAC regulations and U.S. sanctions policy through her engagement with members.
