Event Details
Indonesia, the world's third-largest democracy, is set to hold its next general election on 14 February 2024. Up to 205 million Indonesians will cast their ballots to elect the country's next president and vice president, along with nearly 20,000 representatives to national, provincial, and district parliaments from a pool of a quarter-million candidates.
Over the last few months, election campaigns have highlighted key differences among the candidates – be it the country's maritime priorities or its approach to China. For businesses, the election has significant investment implications to watch out for, particularly around energy.
Join AmCham Singapore and Vriens & Partners as we hear from key experts on the upcoming presidential election and its impact on the country's business outlook, foreign policy, and public policy priorities.
