Event Details
Southeast Asia has been one of the world's greatest growth stories, with the past few decades accelerating living standards for the region's people across just a few generations. However โ amid tech-led economic evolutions and disruptive crises like the COVID-19 pandemic โ the outlook for Southeast Asia's youths is uncertain. To have a clearer outlook ahead, the region's youths now expect more from their governments, as well as from businesses and private sector organizations they engage with.
Titled 'How Can Businesses in ASEAN Pivot to a New, Youth-Driven Normal?', the upcoming webinar by AmCham Singapore and Redhill will deliberate the findings from Redhill's 2021 ASEAN Youth Survey โ which analyses the roles of Southeast Asia's youths as key drivers of economic, cultural and socio-political change. It provides a snapshot view of their aspirations and concerns, through the eyes of nearly 3,000 people aged 18-35 across seven ASEAN nations.
The event will feature a panel of experts within the region's business ecosystem, who will discuss the following pertinent themes evolving within the private sector landscape:
1. The role of Southeast Asia's youths in the region's socio-economic development
2. How sustainability is becoming a stronger factor behind consumption habits
3. Private sector inputs on hiring youths in today's digitally dependent economy
4. The degree to which remote working will be a mainstay in the new normal
5. The role of the private sector in investing in the youths' future
To join in and hear the experts' views on these pertinent topics, sign up for the webinar today.
