Celebrate the 5th anniversary of the AmChamSG Women in Business Committee with guest of Honor Ms. Stefanie Yuen Thio, Chairperson of SG Her Empowerment Limited (SHE) and Joint Managing Partner of TSMP Law Corporation, and past winners of the AmCham Women HERo Awards.

Ms. Yuen Thio, a provocative thought leader and advocate on issues of equity and empowerment, has been a catalyst for change through her influential contributions to major print publications and her compelling appearances on TV, radio, and podcasts.

The Symposium will also showcase a dynamic panel of past AmCham Women HERo Awards winners who will reflect on the progress made over the past five years in the business community and Singapore broadly. They will discuss how companies can continue to champion women leaders and navigate the growing backlash against diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

Speakers

Stefanie Yuen Thio

Joint Managing Partner of TSMP Law Corporation and Chairperson of SG Her Empowerment (SHE)

Stefanie Yuen Thio is the Joint Managing Partner of TSMP Law Corporation. She also heads its corporate practice. TSMP won the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre’s (NVPC) President’s Volunteerism & Philanthropy Awards in 2018 and was named a Champion of Good by NVPC in 2017, 2018 and 2020.

Stefanie has a long history of volunteering in charities. In 2022, she established SG Her Empowerment (SHE), on the back of the work that she had done as part of the Sunlight Alliance for Action to tackle online harms, especially those targeted at women and girls, set up by the Ministry of Communications and Information in July 2021. SHE's mission is to create a more equal society in Singapore for women and men. In 2024 she was conferred a Partner of Labour award in the May Day Awards for her work in SHE.

Stefanie’s work for other registered Singapore charities included The Community Foundation of Singapore, Dover Park Hospice, IC2 Prephouse Ltd., The Smile Mission Ltd and the Singapore Art Museum.

Stefanie advocates for gender diversity and leads TSMP’s women empowerment initiatives. TSMP was named Best National Firm for Women in Business Law and Best Gender Diversity Initiative in 2014.

Stefanie holds a LLB (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and has been practising for 31 years, specialising in mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets transactions. She is the chairperson of ESR-LOGOS REIT, listed on the SGX-ST. She was appointed in 2025 to the Monetary Authority of Singapore's Corporate Governance Advisory Committee.
