AmCham Singapore is proud to host its third Balestier Series event of 2023 with Dr Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment. The Balestier Series is also a key part of the Chamber's year-long 50th Anniversary Celebrations.
We are honored to engage with SMS Khor during Singapore's Go Green SG, an annual initiative to rally the community in taking climate action. She will share insights on Singapore's sustainability goals, the government's commitment to mitigating and adapting to the impact of climate change; and building meaningful partnerships with sectoral stakeholders.
The Balestier Series hosts distinguished Singaporean leaders from key sectors who address AmCham members on subjects of significance. Launched in 2014, AmCham's Balestier Series celebrates two centuries of economic and commercial exchange between Singapore and the United States. The Series is named after Joseph Balestier, the first consul to Singapore for the United States who served from 1837 to 1852.
