Event Details
US Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) will join the AmChams of Asia Pacific in a closed-door session to provide insight into the US government as it addresses many key issues in 2024, both from a domestic and international perspective.
Mark Kelly has served his country as a U.S. Navy combat pilot, a NASA astronaut, and since 2020 as a U.S. Senator for Arizona.
Senator Kelly currently serves on five different Senate committees, including Armed Services and Energy & Natural Resources.
Amongst his many achievements, he worked on a bipartisan basis to secure the Senate passage of a $52 billion deal that'll increase domestic microchip manufacturing to create high-paying Arizona jobs, strengthen supply chains to lower costs, and bolster national security.
This series leads in to the AAP 2024 DC Door Knock to be held July 10, in which members of AmChams from across the region meet with key leaders, policy makers and influencers as the US heads to learn and discuss the policies and politics heading into the 2024 elections.
The session will be moderated by AAP Chair Steven Okun, CEO of APAC Advisors and Senior Advisor, McLarty Associates.
This will be closed door, off the record and is open to any member of an AmCham in the Asia-Pacific on a complimentary basis.
