AmCham Call for Community Giving

For over 15 years, AmCham Singapore has organized our flagship Corporate Community Day (CCD) to build stronger ties with Singapore through local community work. In 2019, AmCham partnered with the Southwest Community Development Council (SW CDC) to gather AmCham member volunteers and pack Care Packs for over 500 residents of a rental block.

While ongoing safety regulations mean AmCham is unable to hold an open CCD gathering this year, we believe it is important to continue upholding our tradition of community giving, particularly through this difficult time. In lieu of our usual CCD format, AmCham is putting out an open call to our members to support SW CDC through cash donations.

Here's what you can contribute:

Members can donate cash which will be used to support Care Packs. Members may make donations in the following increments, with the option to select multiple donation amounts: $50, $100, $500 & $1000.

A donation of $100 will support the cost of four Care Packs to SW CDC residents of a rental block. Care Packs may include the following Household Items below.

Household Items in Care Packs:

· Brown rice​

· Brown rice vermicelli​

· Milo drink​

· Healthy snacks​

· Hygiene care (shampoo, soap)​

· Oral care (toothbrush, toothpaste) ​

· Household products (detergent, kitchen towels)

AmCham's goal is to support 400 Care Packs. The donation period is open until December 11, 2020.
