AmCham Call for Community Giving

For over 18 years, AmCham Singapore has organized our flagship Corporate Community Day (CCD) to build stronger ties with Singapore through local community work. Almost a thousand care packs have been distributed by AmCham members over the past two years to vulnerable residents in the South West District.

We believe it is important to continue upholding our tradition of community giving, especially during the COVID-19 endemic. In keeping with the ongoing safety regulations, AmCham is putting out an open call to our members to support South West Community Development Council (SWCDC) through cash donations and donations in kind.

Here's what you can contribute:

Members can donate cash which will be used to support the 400 Care Packs needed for rental blocks in Jurong East.

Alternatively, members may wish to contribute specific items for the 400 care packs needed. Please find below a list of household items that may be included in these care packs:

Example of household items:

• Instant noodles

• Milo Gao Kosong (milo without sugar)

• Hygiene care (shampoo, soap)

• Oral care (toothbrush)

• Household products (detergent, hand wash, alcohol sanitizer)

The donation period is open until November 9, 2021.
