Monisha is a high performing organization and business builder with over 24 years of experience in Cyber-security, Information Technology, and Strategic outsourcing domains, across sectors. She successfully leads APAC Sales and global operations involving complex program management, grows businesses through innovation and technology infusion, builds and leads large cross-cultural teams, and orchestrates them to deliver desired measurable results. She is known for demonstrating discretion, a high level of professionalism, and attention to detail. She is a keen learner, a trusted advisor, a responsible team member, and a collaborator. She is currently working as the Asia Pacific Cyber Security Services Sales Leader, handling a business of around 300Mn USD per year. She has handled different roles within IBM since 2005 (IBM Singapore and IBM India). These include Senior Project Executive, Strategic Outsourcing accounts (AP); Base Growth Leader (AP); Relationship Executive (Bharti Account, India); Project Executive (Telcordia, India); Portfolio Manager (Service Delivery Platform, Airtel, India) and Program Manager (Transformation Projects). Before working with IBM, Monisha had worked as the General Manager of a Business Process Outsourcing organization (Aptara Ltd) and as a Senior Manager, Value Added Services, Essar Cellphone (now Vodafone), one of the largest Telecom companies in India.
She holds a Ph.D. in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. She completed her master’s degree in 'International Business' from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi, and her Engineering degree in the field of 'Electronics and Communications' from Malviya National Institute of Technology, Rajasthan. She is a Certified Corporate Director (Non- executive), an IBM Certified Project Executive, and a PMP Certified Project Manager.
She is recognized as a consistent "IBM Business and Technical Leader”. She is a member of IBM’s Women's Leadership Councils and a mentor to senior industry professionals. She has also authored a business management book titled "Transformational Outsourcing" (ISBN:978-613-7-19580-5), in 2017. She is also enrolled as a Workforce Singapore's volunteer Career Advisor to help Singapore build a pool of industry professionals, by providing peer-level support and career guidance.
