Event Details
Achieving ESG is a series that explores each pillar of ESG – Environment, Social, and Governance. Each session will address three approaches to achieving ESG—measuring, accelerating, and innovating.
This month, we will explore the Social pillar and consider the social dimension of business activities, spanning from workplace conditions and safety standards to diversity and inclusion, human rights and community relations. A critical enabler of the sustainability movement, the social element – often neglected in ESG discussions – builds a strong foundation in fostering urgency towards the climate crisis.
With the pivot towards ESG and the rise of socially conscious millennials as employees, investors, and consumers, it has become imperative that businesses focus on the social aspect of ESG. Companies that go beyond regulations and engage in transparent, socially responsible practices are more likely to retain the trust, confidence, and inclusion of stakeholders, which in turn yields greater investment returns in the long term.
Join us as we take a deep dive on the critical steps and tools towards measuring, accelerating, and innovating social goals; how to develop strategy plans that promote public trust; and the best practices to implementing transparent solutions.
