Event Details
Achieving ESG is a series that explores each pillar of ESG โ Environment, Social, and Governance. Each session will address three approaches to achieving ESGโmeasuring, accelerating, and innovating.
This month, we explore the Governance pillar and discuss the cornerstone of ESG initiatives, the principles of transparency, accountability, and integrity, and the necessity to transition beyond regulations towards values and leadership.
Governance factors such as decision-making, risk management, and the distribution of responsibilities sets the tone for a company to achieve their ESG and KPI targets. Governance has often been overlooked due to the heavy focus on climate and social issues. However, effective governance is a critical driver in a company's ability to pursue its environmental and social commitments.
Join us as we discuss the key governance factors that firms can measure, accelerate, and innovate to develop a sound ESG strategy; the inherent need for corporate governance; and the importance of values in organizational culture.
