The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) will be briefing members of The American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmChamSG) on key business developments in Singapore, including growth areas that it is looking to work with companies on this year.

In her role as Assistance Vice President (Logistics & Supply Chain Management), Kimberly manages a portfolio of key client accounts in the logistics industry. She is also responsible for the strategy and implementation of industry development initiatives for logistics and supply chain.

Prior to this role, Kimberly was based in London, UK from March 2021 to 2024 as Regional Director (Europe) at EDB. Kimberly covered the life sciences and healthcare sector in the UK, Ireland, France and Italy. She was also responsible for EDB’s investment promotion efforts in the agri-food, consumer, and professional services sectors in the UK, and all sectors in Italy.

Kimberly joined EDB in September 2015. Prior to this role, Kimberly was an account manager in the Consumer division within EDB, where she partnered companies spanning across packaged food, household, personal care, and apparel sectors.

Kimberly graduated with a Double Degree in Business Management and Social Science (Political Science) from Singapore Management University. She is based in Singapore.

Casatrina is currently the Deputy Director of the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) Programme Office at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). She works with global companies on setting up twinning operations between Singapore and Johor to tap on the joint complementarities in the two regions. She is also responsible for working with various Singaporean and Malaysian stakeholders to develop the business ecosystem in the JS-SEZ.

She previously spent 2 years in the New Ventures team, with a focus on Chinese founders and global AI founders, to engage experienced founders on their plans to build new businesses out of Singapore.
From 2020 to 2023, Casatrina was based in Shanghai as the Regional Director responsible for EDB’s engagements in Eastern China. She is experienced in working with Chinese companies to chart their growth in Singapore and the region.

Prior to that, Casatrina spent 5 years in the Digital Industry Singapore team, working with Chinese and Southeast Asian technology companies to plug them into our digital ecosystem. As part of her stint, she also worked on national strategies relating to the opportunities in AI and e-commerce for Singapore.

Casatrina graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, a Master of Science in Computer Science, and a Master of Science in Management Science & Engineering.

Mr Jermaine Loy was appointed Managing Director of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) on 1 March 2025. He chairs the DesignSingapore Advisory Board, and also serves on the Boards of SG Growth Capital, the Agency for Science, Technology and Research and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.

Before joining the EDB, Jermaine served in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) from April 2021 to December 2024 as the Principal Private Secretary to then-Prime Minister and current Senior Minister Mr Lee Hsien Loong.

Prior to that, he worked on various portfolios across the Singapore Public Service, including on planning Singapore’s land-use needs at the Ministry of National Development, on healthcare financing and subsidy policies at the Ministry of Health, as well as on international trade policy at the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Jermaine is a Sloan Fellow and has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He is also an alumnus of the Technical University of Munich, where he received his master’s degree in electrical engineering.

Mabel is responsible for industry development efforts in the tech sector, especially in the enterprise and AI space. She is also focused on executing the industry plans under the National AI Strategy 2.0, alongside other government agencies. More broadly, she is part of the Digital Industry Singapore (DISG), whose mission is to grow and support tech companies locally by building deep capabilities, strong infrastructure, and a vibrant ecosystem of local and global enterprises. Prior to this, Mabel was in policy and trade negotiation roles at the Ministry of Trade and Industry. During this time, she was also posted to Geneva as a negotiator for digital and services agreements at an International Organisation.
