Since the opening of the famous Johor Bahru-Singapore Causeway, both countries' economies have grown and changed considerably. Heralding a new era of economic interchanges, the newly announced Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS Link) is set to strengthen economic and business links with Singapore. With increasing travel between Singapore and Johor Bahru, businesses have the opportunity to develop and invest in future modes of travel between the two states.

Rudyanto Azhar joined Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) in 2017 to lead Iskandar Rapid Transit (IRT) team. He is responsible for driving overall strategic directions of the project including to ensure successful delivery and implementation, meeting the project's intended goals and ensuring sustainability of its services. This will include but not limited to construction of key infrastructures, selection of operating partners, and seamless integration and operationalisation of its operating environment.

Rudy attended Global CEO Programme, Cranfield School of Management, UK (2014), he holds a master’s Degree in Management from Universiti Malaya and a Degree in Accounting & Finance from University of Kent at Canterbury, UK.

Initially, he was attached to Maybank, then went on to be a management consultant at Deloitte, and subsequently, Formates. In 2010, Rudy then joined the pioneering team establishing Malaysia’s Land Public Transport Authority shouldering the role of Head of Corporate Services.

Then he was involved in the strategic planning of rail and bus services C-level in Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, a federal government owned company under the Ministry of Finance. In 2013, Rudy was appointed as the CEO of Prasarana Integrated Development Sdn Bhd, driving the property development and commercial arms of Prasarana Group.

Prior to joining IRDA, he was with MRT Corp. in-charged of construction, planning and service deployment of feeder bus services of Klang Valley’s first mass rapid transit (MRT) Line in 2016.

Mr. Vinothan Tulisinathzan joined MIDA in 2007 and was attached to Agro-Based Industries Division whereby he was responsible for evaluation of projects for Manufacturing Licence, Incentives and Expatriate posts. Then, he was transferred to Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Division and was responsible for attracting FDIs from Asia Oceania region such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. In 2012, he was posted to MIDA San Jose for five years and played a significant role in promoting investments from Silicon Valley into Malaysia.

From 2017-2021, he served in the Oil & Gas and Maritime Technology and Chemical & Advanced Materials Divisions covering the development of Oil & Gas upstream activities and looking after the development of Petrochemicals, Plastics, Chemicals & Chemical Products, Oleo chemicals and Rubber Products Industries respectively. He has been appointed as the Director of MIDA Singapore since January 2022.

He holds a BA (Hons) majoring in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Tun Abdul Razak University (UNIRAZAK).
