Join us on Wednesday, October 12, 4:00pm - 7:00pm, for the AmCham Women Elevate Symposium on Women at the Forefront of ESG for a discussion on the role of women in driving sustainability.
The 2022 Edelman Trust Barometer revealed that distrust is now society's default emotion, particularly with respect to government and the media. Meanwhile, there is an even greater expectation for businesses to step up on societal issues. Is a focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics the way forward? What does effective ESG strategy look like, and is it really leading to better societal outcomes? Multiple studies show that more women in business leadership means better ESG performance, enhancing overall company performance and financial returns. How can businesses, governments, and non-profits work together to more effectively drive the societal outcomes the world needs?
Join AmCham as we address these questions and more, taking a deeper dive into the role of women in ESG, best practices for democratizing sustainability, and how businesses can set themselves up for overall success thanks to, and not in spite of, a focus on ESG.
