Companies in Singapore have made progress in supporting women in leadership in recent years. However, what remains challenging is how companies manage the cultural diversity of their workforces, which, if not well managed, can foster an "us versus them" mentality.
Learn more from the author of the new book, "Fostering Culturally Diverse Leadership in Organizations", Karen Loon, as she shares her lived experiences, personal stories, and practical advice on the group dynamics in organizations that can inhibit greater diversity and delivers a roadmap for fostering more diverse and inclusive organizations.
Moderated by Georgette Tan, President of United Women Singapore, this session will delve into Karen's insights for any business leader โ of any nationality, culture or gender โ looking to negotiate their identity in the workplace, overcome feelings of being undervalued and build relationship capital (such as access to sponsors, mentors, professional networks, and work social activities) needed for career success.
Join us on Thursday, November 17, 4:00-6:00pm for an engaging session with Karen followed by networking with drinks and light bites.
