AmCham will be commemorating Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr. Day on Monday, January 16, 2023, with a beach clean-up at Pasir Ris Park Beach.
Observed annually on the third Monday in January, MLK Jr. Day commemorates the life and work of Dr. King, and is a National Day of Service that encourages all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.
Join us at Pasir Ris Park Beach to help pick up sea trash while learning about the circular economy and the effects of waste and plastic on the mangrove and marine environments.
All contributions collected will go towards the facilitators and logistics of this project.
Participants will also receive a recycled plastic product made with collected marine Type 2 and 5 plastics at the end of the activity.
