AmCham initiated the Meet the MPs Series in 2020 to cultivate a deeper understanding between Singapore Members of Parliament (MPs) and leaders and the business community on the priorities, concerns, and issues in the Singaporean community, as well as develop collaborative ways for the local and business communities to work together.

Please join us as Mr. Murali Pillai, MP for Bukit Batok SMC talks about his role as a Member of Parliament, including the challenges and opportunities and the issues keeping him busy in his constituency with his residents.

Mr. Murali will also give us his insights on how he balances his responsibility as a national legislator who works to make life better for Singapore; his profession as a Senior Counsel in private practice and how he organizes his time between Parliament, the courts, and the community he serves.

Monisha, Asia Pacific Cyber Security Services Sales Leader, IBM, is currently heading the strategic cyber security sales across the APAC region. She has considerable expertise in handling global operations involving complex program management, growing businesses through innovation and technology infusion, building large cross-cultural teams, and orchestrating them to deliver desired measurable results.

Monisha holds a Ph.D. in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. She completed her master’s degree in 'International Business' from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi, and her Engineering degree in the field of 'Electronics and Communications' from Malviya National Institute of Technology, Rajasthan, India.

She has authored a business management book titled "Transformational Outsourcing"

She is an inventor and her patent submission stands filed, on “User-Centric Online Terms of Use: Interpretation System and Method for Enhanced Consent Decision”.

She was the co-chair for the Cyber-Security sub-committee prior to joining the AmCham Board of Governors, Singapore.
