Event Details
The emergence of ChatGPT and other generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools like Dall-E, Stable Diffusion and Midjourney have revolutionized how businesses and professionals of all stripes perform content creation. While generative AI unlocks new efficiencies for content creators and presents new opportunities for innovation and creativity, the novelty and complexity of the technology also raises challenges that require careful consideration.
To embrace the benefits of generative AI, businesses must understand the potential legal and ethical concerns as well as existing relevant legal frameworks pertaining to AI to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. These legal concerns can include the attribution of authorship and ownership of the content that generative AI platforms create; liability for the AI-generated content; copyright issues that may arise from data inputs used to train an AI program to generate materials; and whether copyright, patent, and trademark infringement apply to AI creations.
Join our panel of experts for a discussion on the legal implications of generative AI and how to navigate its challenges and uncertainties. Our speakers will also deconstruct the process behind generative AI - how it is trained to produce and improve its output - and explore the nuances between AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
