Event Details
The Ministry of Law (MinLaw) and Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) are conducting a public consultation on the draft of a proposed Copyright Bill, which will repeal and replace the current Copyright Act. The consultation is part of an ongoing review on the reform of Singapore's copyright regime. The draft Copyright Bill seeks to adopt technology-neutral language that is sufficiently broad to cater to modern technologies and emerging technologies.
Join us for a virtual roundtable discussion on Thurs, March 18, 4pm โ 5pm, to review and raise any issues or concerns on the draft Copyright Bill. This sharing and feedback session will be led by the co-chairs of the Legal & IPR, and Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) committees, who will guide members through the draft Copyright Bill. Depending on member feedback, AmCham may submit AmCham feedback to MinLaw and IPOS thereafter.
For any enquires please contact the AmCham Programming and Events Team.
*CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds will be provided for cancellations. Replacements will be accepted.
