Event Details
From SMEs to corporate enterprises, third party providers have formed an extensive and pivotal network that supports various business functions. For SMEs, vendor partnerships are critical for business viability. However, partnering with external, independent parties comes with risks. Potential risks include insufficient data security controls to protect access to sensitive data; business practices that conflict with the companies' own policies and procedures; and reduced revenue/productivity due to substandard services or products.
Although risk is inevitable, SMEs can mitigate risks and build trust by practising due diligence and proving compliance to a potential MNC partner. Effective vendor due diligence can increase trust, strengthen control over negotiations, and accelerate the transaction process.
Join our panel of experts who will share their insights on how SMEs should develop their due diligence measures; identify critical areas to focus on, including cybersecurity measures and strong corporate governance; and other best practices for successfully showing compliance to potential partners.
